So this lady from Santa-Cameroon was sitting in her apartment in Europe, one cold and lonely day in February. Little did she know that this Bamilike guy living in the US, whom she has been friends with, was sending a huge bouquet of red roses to be delivered to her apartment. The package was so big, she could barely carry it.Then there was a card inside that read “happy valentine’s day, I hope to stop being called “stronghead”.I knew exactly who it was coming from. It was the most romantic surprise. Our relationship has grown so much since then. He makes me laugh, annoys me sometimes and challenges me to think out of the box and that’s why I love him. He still is and will always remain MY Mr.Stronghead.

Pearl and I had been talking for over six months but our geographical separation was not ideal.  However,  I wanted in and naturally I understood her guard.  I needed to do something that was simple,  cute yet carried the right impact to say, ‘I’m here,  I like what I’ve seen, in and out, and I’ve come to stay.’ Valentine’s Day was fast approaching and what better way than an imposing bouquet of beautiful roses. It took a two hours phone call to the vendor who was hours from her to make delivery and shipping arrangements.  I equally had to keep her home. …everything worked beautifully and her reaction was everything I’d hoped for and when I saw the unique smile,  cute dimples included,  I said to myself. …I’m in!

Their wedding is scheduled for January 2016 in Cameroon
